Chestnut Farms Bottled

Taken on its face, this is a downright drinkable bottle of bourbon. There are some good flavors in here, packaged in a good looking bottle, and I’d be happy sipping in pretty much any situation. The flavors are basic and simple, but well executed.

Where this starts to fall apart is the pricing. This bottle clocks in at about $60 a bottle at time of writing, which is on par with some fantastic bottles from other distilleries. Given the competition it seems overpriced

Kentucky-HIGHLY ALLOCATED- From the famous Barton 1792 Distillery, a 6yr hi-rye bourbon distilled & aged in Bardstown, KY. Bottled at 100PF. Complex nose of vanilla & mint with flavors of custard & ripe fruit. Robust, big mouthfeel & finish. Double Gold San Fran World Spirits Comp.

Chestnut Farms Bottled is a line of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys, notably the popular Bottled-in-Bond (BiB) expression, produced by Barton 1792 Distillery (owned by Sazerac) and sold as a Total Wine & More exclusive/house brand. The BiB version is 100 proof (50% ABV), aged at least four years, and known for notes of vanilla, caramel, banana, oak, and spice, offering a smooth, balanced profile for its price point, making it a well-regarded value bourbon.
